Harry Jho LLC is not looking for finance experts. The Firm is looking to create finance experts. Successful Analysts have graduated with degrees in a wide range of majors — for example Classics, Philosophy, Economics, Math, and Chemistry — and candidates who are also musicians or athletes have done well in the program.
Who this path is for
The Firm’s best employees come with grit, adaptability, motivation to learn, and strong communication, analytical, and organization skills — and the Firm handles the rest. Successful candidates have a strong command of the English language and a commitment to engage with, and master, the technical aspects of the field. This is a corporate paralegal position (Analysts are non-attorneys). J.D.s are not eligible for the Analyst role; holders of master’s degrees are considered. No paralegal certificate is required.
What the Analyst program trains
The two/three-year Analyst program is designed to equip you with the knowledge and expertise needed to excel in Securities Finance, including Prime Brokerage and Equity Derivatives. By the program’s conclusion, you will have developed fluency in the documentation and technical intricacies underpinning these critical areas of finance. Analysts are trained in complex instruments used throughout the finance industry, gain legal drafting experience, and cultivate client management skills necessary for service industries like law and finance.
Compensation for the Analyst role is $25/hour with unlimited overtime (live on /join/analyst/). Full application instructions — including the candidate exercise — are on the Analyst role page.
A peer story
“As I had no prior experience in finance, I was surprised and somewhat intimidated by the job offer from Harry Jho LLC. I realized that, above all, the Firm wanted to hire smart, driven people who were up to the challenge of learning a new field. I decided this was an opportunity that I couldn’t pass up.”
Madelyn Kornhauser, a History and Spanish major, was an Associate Producer at Sockeye Media LLC, 2016–2019, and a Harry Jho LLC Analyst, 2014–2016.

Commitment: 2–3 years
If you are serious about investing in yourself, the Firm offers a deal: you commit for 2–3 years; in return, the Firm trains you and gives you the professional skills you need to launch a career in law or in finance. Candidates should be prepared to commit for a minimum of 24 months. The candidate exercise is designed in part so you can decide whether this is the kind of work you want to do, ten hours a day, for the next three years — this is the only type of work the Firm has.
